Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb

The first harvest of the year from my allotment.

Always a lovely moment when the allotment starts bursting into life and offering lovely things to cook. 

Apparently, rhubarb  is a vegetable rather than a fruit, - maybe that’s why it needs a few spoons of  sugar  when cooking. 

I like to roast it with ginger and orange juice and serve with yogurt – delicious.
